i have an ryzen 3 2200g, but i going to buy an rx 5500 8gb with an ryzen 5 1600af for streaming, the ryzen 5 1600af cost how a ryzen 3 2200g in Argentina.

I now accept my mistake of choosing AF. Sh*t RAM compatibility, BSOD's or hangs because of "cheap old ram", and i could have chosen newer B550 mb instead of old B450 lol definitely everything older than any Ryzen 3rd gen is stupid purchase in 2020 and afterwards.

The 1600 AF is literally 6 USD equivalent more expensive than the 3100 in my country, the 3300X is out of stock everywhere, and the 3600 is literally 120 USD equivalent more than the 1600 AF. So I think it's pretty clear I'll go for the 1600 AF, if nothing changes lol. Ryzen 3000 and 5000 chips are extremely overpriced here

Me in July: *Gives up and orders the 1600AF for under $100 since my 3300X still has not shown up* Also me in July: *Four days after receiving my 1600AF and computer being built...The 3300X shows up on my door...* August 1st: *places the 3300X, still in the box and wrapping, in the back dark section of my file cabinet... Still mad at it...banished for it's sins...debating if I should use the 1600AF or the 3300X* I'm just going to wait to Black Friday to get some great deals on parts and build a small ITX travel battle desktop and use the 3300X in that.

Unless you have a motherboard that can operate a AF1600 AND you can get the AF1600 for cheap then go for it. If you have a newer board, or making a new build that can support 3000 series, then don't bother with the AF1600, just spend the extra pennies and get the better 3100 or 3300X.

I changed my 1600 (Not AF) for a 3300x, multitasking remains the same but gaming is undoubtedly better, even in games that support 6c/12t it gives a nice and stable performance, adding that here the 1600af remains more expensive than the 3300x.

I can't decide on which CPU to buy. I want one for the best price, good multi-tasking capabilities, gets good 1080p FPS, and something that will last for possibly 5+ years. Also, the 3100 is usually more available because of COVID-19.

I have a 1600 AF on a MSI B350m Gaming Pro board that likes the black Oloy 3600 Mhz memory = 32Gb kit and it runs XMP 1 profile of 3333Mhz CL 18 24/7

K so guys, in my country, the 1600 AF is hard to find but it's almost as expensive as the 2600, the 2600 is 134 and the 1600 Af is 125, 2600 is also faster at some parts so make sure to check if the 2600 or the 2600x is the same price or lower than the 1600af so u can buy this instead of a 3300x, the performance difference is about 15-20fps(3300x) but the 2600/2600x gives u 2 more cores and 4 more threads meaning that will have better streaming performance than u will have with a 4 core 8 thread cpu. It's all personal preference anyway. If u can find a good deal on the 2600 or the 2600x and u like streaming, go for it. It will serve you well. The main reason I got the 2600 instead of the 3300x or the 1600 AF is because, it's only 9 bucks more expensive than the 1600 af(in my country) and it offers better performance, it's only about 5% faster but still. I would have gone with the 3300x but it's 160€ in my country and the 2600 is 134 so I would have to buy a 1660 super instead of a 5600xt to get the 3300x and that will cost me some performance. 1660 super+3300x is slower than 2600 5600xt so yeah. The 3300 is the better option if u don't stream and it's only 120$ but I'm my case, 2600 is the best. Also for 160$ I can get the r5 3600 which is like so much better than the 3300x

The 3300X if you can find one (at the advertised MSRP) is the best VALUE Gaming CPU right now - period. The 3100 is not a great gaming CPU. I agree with you regarding the 3600 and additional amount for that CPU is money really well-spent if you want decent gaming AND productivity. I went with that CPU for exactly that reason and I can't get over the value for this CPU.

Is there really a bad choice with Ryzen CPUs? I bought an HP pavilion with a ryzen 7 1700 and 16gb of ram for 200$ the buyer basically bought a pallet full of them and pulled all the GPU's for bitcoin mining. He happened to have the one left in his garage that had a dented case. I threw in a gtx 1650 OC ddr6 model and have amazing gaming performance for a grand total of 350$ it's my living room tv unit with a wireless keyboard and an xbox controller. The most graphics intensive game I play is elder scrolls online at 60fps max settings. I'm waiting to build a micro sized ryzen apu box... waiting to see how they improve in the near future

i appreciate all the effort that went into this comparison but I have to wonder if pairing a graphics cards that costs twice the price of the cpu is relevant for the typical purchaser of the low cost cpu. I would be far happier with the results of a pairing with a on par graphics card, although this obviously isn't optimal for performance.If I'm building a cheapo gamer I'm not going to spend that kind of cash on a graphics card. Honest critique: Your graphs are atrocious dude. Extremely difficult to differentiate combos. Very thin bars that spread so far horizontally are awful too. Using the same plain font, that’s already hard to read, on every label was terrible as well.
