Hot take for GPU stock issue- Have manufacturers offer a pre order on the model that users want to buy with an estimated manufacture and delivery date. This effectively cuts out scalpers as I doubt they would want to tie up their money in preorders and gives a hard roadmap for companies to see which models are selling the most and require the most attention. Please let me know what y’all think of this idea.

My personal opinon is that anyone who is thinking about building a new pc should first buy a gpu... in these times it's the logical thing to do... because if you can't buy one for a reasonable price you are better off ditching the project entirely... It's all just unfair and frustrating (stating the obvious here ofc) recently... We are either at the mercy of these people or forced to skip on our indoor hobbies while they are pretty much all we can do.... And i don't actually need a Pc at the moment even if my i5 2500k is like 10 years old... think about those ppl who actually are in need of a new machine because they need to work with it... Bah... These videos you do are fun to watch and the only ones which seem to aknowledge this problem from time to time ... you are my favourite youtuber so far... at least i get to laugh every once in while... keep up with the fantastic work... cheers.

I’m tired of this whole GPU thing.. I had a whole pc set up for my friend, I went got all the parts and built it for him. Problem was is every part but the GPU was in stock, so because I rarely use my pc and just use my brothers since his is better and I built that too, I just let him use my graphics card until we can find him one that will do decent. Issue is it’s been a whole month and everyone lists their GPUs for $800+ so now trying to get anything is annoying because literally even a 1080 Ti is overpriced. So now we wait because I’m not letting him get a low end graphics card with a 3700x I’m not seeing bottlenecks

I got a 3070 off ebay for 699, and im really satisfied with it. I went from an RTX 2060 mobile to 2080 ti performance for 700 bucks, at a time when all GPU's are expensive. Also, it was for an occasion that was extremely important to me that i will only experience once in a lifetime. So i wanted to reward myself, and paying 160 over MSRP, plus tax (shipping was free) was totally worth it for me

I am sure the motive for some one who is purchasing used packaging would be either they want to return the product and the retailer requires the item to be in the O.E.M packaging in order to refund their purchase, Alternatively to resell their items for a higher price in comparison to others available used on the market that do not have the original box and contents such as user manual, being used as a unique selling point so they can state it is a retail boxed product. You will also find the odd seller with bulk quantities available who is intending to get some money back for their bulk purchases i.e Crypto mining farm's or small computer stores. @kyle please replay when you have time. PC spec Ryzen 5 3600 TUF B450M plus RTX 3070 16 GB 3200mhz 500gb SSD 650wt PSU In most game at 1080p FPS going up and down. Sometimes its in 60's. Ik RTX 3070 targeted for 4k and anything under 1440p will mostly go towards CPU. Also in OBS video gets super laggy. SO my question is should get a 1440p monitor or get B550 motherboard or upgrade the CPU. Please replay my comment when you have time.
