Yo I think the switch to Twitch would solve the niche problem because you can develop a fan base that's there for you, not just the content. I was just thinking about it when you mentioned it, and you can do occasional twitch highlights on youtube to keep the channel going with like an editor. If you want, go for it!! Bit late to the party but for what my two cents (no pun intended) is worth, I subscribed because I needed tech advice, and stayed because of the creator behind the info, at this point I would say I'm pretty competent with new and old tech alike, but it's always fun to see how you put a spin on things, and see your personality come through, that's what I stayed for, so in my humble opinion, do whatever makes you happy, I'm here for the personality behind the camera, not just the content within the 'script'.

Think I missed the window for Kyle to see this comment. I sent an email to him a while back that since he's a super busy guy, he probably didn't see it. It was about how influential, inspiring and motivational he's been in my life, my favorite tech DEpostr. He has inspired me to want to build my own gaming pc and learn more about gaming pcs and tech in general. why is there 50 billion cuts in just a video of you talking? like do you fuck up so often that you're constantly cutting shit out? i don't get it, i really don't think there needs to be this many cuts in a video of someone just talking, maybe if you want to change to a close up every now and then like you do, thats fine, but you are constantly cutting when filming at any angle. it's super distracting for me.

I wish mobo makers would put the power connector on the back of the motherboard, so it and the cable wouldn't be seen. i feel old-skool.. my first PC build was in 2000: AMD Athlon Thunderbird 850MHz CPU, 64MB SDRAM, ASUS A7V mobo, 6GB HDD, eVGA Vanta LT 8MB AGP card I screwed the motherboard DIRECTLY to the case (yup, no standoff screws) and shorted out all the fan headers.

Your initial intro build how to build a pc was great and what i used to build my first one. I recommend doing an update or a new one with the many updates or changes that have come out like NVME SSDs and all RGB stuff.

What would you do on twitch. I like DEpost because its easy to catch up with stuff. I do watch twitch too, but rarely go back and watch old videos because they are typically for the audience and my later comments aren't as important or even matter. So I'm curious what you would be doing over on twitch. I honestly enjoy all of your videos no matter the content just because of your personality. I built my wife (and myself) a desktop for the first time and your how to video made it stupid easy. I saw how you presented yourself and started watching other part, roast and build videos. I wish I had done that first... because I'd have a totally different build... more rgb probably lol. Your vibes are all awesome and glad you make content. No matter where you go ill be hanging out.

I just build my first PC and your video saved my ass :D I got a ryzen 5800x and a asus strix B550 Motherboard. When I tried to turn it on for the first time it got stuck at the "Press del to enter bios" screen. I tried everything but nothing worked. I knew the b550s needed a new bios and so i got a stick with a new bios version and sticked it into the bios USB slot. My error was that the PC was running at that time so it didn't worked. I think i spent 3 hours looking for errors untill i rewatched your recend build with the same motherboard. Only then i realized that the PC needs to be off in order to install the update. Thank you :D

The problem with DEpost is you have to make content that people want to watch. You also have to be good at it, have the knowledge or present it in a compelling way that will make your viewers come back. I made over 1400 videos on hockey. Guess what people have no interest in watching? Me and my hockey takes. Highlights yes! talking head, no so much. 10 years and 300 subscribers later, I quit as each video took 5 to 6 hours to make and was getting 10s' of views.
